Faith comes in all styles and colors.  I don't have to see everything to believe it...  But I sure would like to!  Looking forward to reading more of your journey...

okay, here's the difference, mine is at the end of a complete sentence but you said, "is my new enlightenment for laugh out loud."--so putting LOL after "enlightenment for"...doesn't make sense to me!  see??

Quirky-when I used the phrase LOL it was in a fun way the same way you use it. I dont see the difference.

Ann--
you are in the minority then, as I think most people really need to see things to believe them.

posted by Julia. on October 16, 2005 at 3:29 PM | link to this | reply

No. I can believe without seeing. Even with reading of some testimonials, I get the goose bumps.

thanks, good to have you on the journey. I'm not sure what you are using LOL for here, usually it stand for laugh out loud but that doesn't make sense in your sentence.

I'd never been to an ashram before either. They also had a wild animal sanctuary there, which was really cool. I got to see some incredible creatures like a snow leopard.

Tissi--
your hesitation is perfectly understandable. But as long as you don't completely close off your mind to possibilities of things that don't seem possible, you will make some great discoveries.

shadow,
If I had to guess I'd say yes, it definitely is just as intense if not more.

OOPS....sorry about that
Quirky.  Didn't mean to have that spelling error.  My apologies .  My brain needs more caffeine this morning & got my fingers typing faster than my brain.  Should have made sure my brain was engaged before putting my fingers to work.

Quirkly
Good post.   Looking forward to the next installment...riding the train to Oregon - can't wait (never been to an ashram before).  As for the "do you have to see something with your own eyes to believe it" - unfortunately, most of us do.  Since we're in the physical, most of us (including me) need "proof" before we believe something.  Guess we're all still learning that we must first believe it, then we'll see it.    -- Also, a comment RE: doing past life regression(s)....have done them before (and yes, they're great), however, please be careful WHO you go to.  Unfortunately, there are folks out there who are not as qualified as others to do this.  Just do some research before you go & make sure of the person's qualifications.  This way, you can have a safe "journey".

Quirky,

I'd love to visit that place in Oregon. Wonder if its as intense as the Native American rituals I've participated in? Shadow

Lizzy--
my friend is not a fortune-telling gypsy from a carnival, lol. Most of those are fakers anyway. I've done a past life regression before, it was actually very interesting and I highly recommend it!

Ask your psychic friend if
my book will sell or bomb. That's the first question I'd ask a psychic if I had the chance. The second question would be who was I in a past life...my most recent past life. I have always wanted to goto a psychic.
