Joe - I haven't seen Supersize Me either. Somehow watching someone disintegrate over time just doesn't appeal to me!

I've seen previews for the show you are referring to. It looked like it would be good; now that you say it had an impact on you as it did, I'll have to make sure to catch it on the television.

I haven't even seen "Supersize Me", even though I've held its box in my hand at the video store several times contemplated whether to rent it or not.

Offbeats - I love sitting around in my pjs! But it gets a bit embarrassing if someone drops around unannounced. I'm waiting for my son to wake up cos he wants to go to the gym with me.

We all need a day to sit around in our PJ's.. the workout can wait, and you will fee refreshed afterward!!

Offbeats - in my mind I'm not busy enough, weird isn't it? I'm sort of slowing down today, I'm not even dressed yet, just lounging on the couch watching news on tv and writing here. Will hit the gym a bit later. :-)

Temple, you make me smile! Vegetarian bird flu indeed... I think you should come down and visit, you won't need matches, I'll drag you around with me!

Ca88andra, I feel so sorry for people trying to live on minimum pay.  It is impossible I would think.

Being busy, I always say,
keeps me out of trouble!  Good post--I know the show you were talking of.  I love things like that--that make you THINK!!!  :-)  ~LB~ xoxo

I'm tired just reading this.
Then again, I'm always tired these days.  Maybe I don't have a brain injury.  Maybe I have vegetarian bird flu.   It's weird to read you going a 100 miles an hour with your hair on fire...I used to know someone like that ... now, I'm going about 15 miles a hour just trying to find the matches!

Great attitude, Cass....
Every so often we read or watch something that opens our eyes and makes us extremely grateful for what we do have.

Ca88andra, YOU are such a wonderful writer...everytime I come here to read
I encounter such an enjoyable experience. It doesn't matter what you write about, the mundane, the poingant, the profound...it is always excellent, and so so satisfying! The work day is just starting here. I'm so glad your very hectic day is done, and TGIF is in full swing!

MsVision, I'm glad you liked the post. It must be a pain to have longer to commute each day! Have a good weekend.

I couldn't be bothered cooking tonight either after a "now its going to take you half an hour longer to commute each day" end to the week but I was too broke to eat out. So lucky for that frozen casserole. Thanks for your post it puts things into perspective really well.
