Jimmy, maybe he will...I'm sure I will always think about him.
I miss a lot of people that made a difference in my life, in me, and he was significant.  I often think I think about him more as what he represents to me than for him himself, since I know the chinks in that armour all too well.  I think he has peace now.  I do, in many ways, too.

He will keep cropping up for you forever...
I am sure. I hope he has found peace, and I hope you do as well Temple...peace...

Toker, don't feel like you have to say anything in particular here.
I'm just glad that came to read and say hello.  It is hard to remember yet warm to think about all at once.  I wouldn't trade it away, but miss it, too.  I think I'm thinking about him so much right now because I want to be back in that place right now, too.  Life's little way of letting me know to look at some things right now, I guess. :)

Hi ya, Temple,
I read this post the other day and tried to think of some profound comment to make, but none came. Heck, I even came back to it a couple of times and same thing. Don't get me wrong, it's one hell of a powerful post... and exceptionally well written. My instinct is to deny it, but I can really relate. The situation just bites, but what do you do, right? .....You take from it what you can, lessons learned and fond memories......and try not to think about it too much......until September......

Cass, you have nothing to say?
Did I stun you into silence?  Is that good or bad?  Rut-roh.   I know you are sucker for love like me, so I'm thinking good. :)  Love does that, overwhelm I mean...takes us by the roots and swallows us whole.  For better or worse.  Stay safe...will do...but are you afraid I'm going to play in traffic or something?  Juggle knives?    Hope things are good for you, I think I'm behind on reading. xo

Ms. N, haven't seen you in a while.
Trying to get those rankings up, eh?   Of course, I jest....I know you've always said nice things about the Gidget.  I'm glad you liked it.  Beautiful post....inspiration all from a beautiful man. :)

Libby, I guess you would understand this piece in particular.

May we both find a new "love of our lives."

T,
This was interesting and thought-provoking. I think we all have one or two special souls that we will always hold close and special even if we are currently in love with another or not.

Ah love, there's nothing like it.  That made me cry, Wend.  Sad and happy tears....My time is December.
