Ohhhhh, it makes it so much worse when your parents don't say ANYTHING about not obeying them and/or making stupid mistakes!!!

Mia, it seemed to work! I'll have to remember it for next time.

Tapsel, thank goodness I didn't have to put the window in myself! Well done!

malcolm, I have always tried to believe my sons. I don't lie to them and I encourage them not to lie to me. I know they have at times, but in the end they tell me. My parents didn't believe me at times and it really hurt. Thanks for reading.

Tissi - yep, I believe you. Why do they have to use real balls?

"Boys will be boys" so they say, Cassandra.   I put a new window pane in once a long time ago.  It was actually kind of fun and I was really proud of myself afterwards.  LOL

Sounds like
you handled this really well. I remember when I was little, one of the panes of glass in my Dad's greenhouse broke. He naturally assumed that my friends and I had done it. Actually, we really hadn't and I don't know how it did happen - we never did find out, but I don't think my Dad ever really believed that I was not responsible.

I'll be he won't be playing basketball inside the house for a while.  Good for you for not coming down on him too hard, when he was obviously remorseful.

Ca88...I still like your son....he sounds like a darn good kid....
but I do feel badly for you. I hope you can get that window fixed and fast....By the way, before I ever signed up to Blogit, it was your posts that I kept reading, even though I was only shown a few sentences, because I had not yet paid for the service. So I guess, Cass, you subliminally influenced me to start writing more. Your posts had always caught my eye. Thanks.

nice son, bad landlord
Nothing worse than an unresponsive landlord. They only seem to pay attention when rent is due.

I noticed that! ;)
You've got such a nice son there Cass! Hope you don't have to wait too long for a new window!
