Petrol head? ...lol... I always thought I'd make a really good race car driver. It is so dangerous, but I would love it. Maybe one day....sigh... they were talking on CNN today about how they pick kids like 15 and 16 here and groom them. Dammit, why didn't they get me then? I had like 6 tickets already! ;)

Tapsel, I understand there are all different types of car races but I still can't get my head around what they are all called or what type of cars race. I bet my boys know what Nascar is...

Quirky - car racing is such an expensive sport, not only to replace the cars but to support the whole team. I hope your brothers do well with the stock car racing.

"petrol head"--lol--that is funny! My two nephews and my brother all race stock cars, as did my Dad until he finally had to give it up a few years ago...they've wrecked a few cars but they just fix them up or get new ones.

Offbeats - I wouldn't watch anything else to do with cars - not even the Grand Prix - and I don't watch all of the race, but somehow the habits of youth take over.
