This is a topic that is very close to my heart. I have been in a few battles to get laws changed and could only get so far before being shut down by the standing laws. It does seem that the laws tend to go more toward the abusers rights than they do for the helpless children. I am not a big Oprah fan but I did catch the show that you are referring to and hope that she is able to tear down some walls and open some doors on this horiffic crime. Great Post!

You have touched a lot of area's here. Oprah is not my favorite person, but she is highly intelligent, and goes after the right cause like a pitbull. There is power in prayer, and there is power in numbers. The more of us that speak up the better the chance that something will be done.
