He sounds like he might have been a bit insecure with you.
Why would he want you to know that other people found him desireable by flaunting his messages, except if he was a little unsure of himself? Yeah, it would get my goat too that he doesn't answer because his new girlfriend might find out.

I read the headlines and had to stop in...funnily enough I am too going through the exact same thing. Only we were married and he doesn't have a girlfriend but I'm heartbroken nevertheless. You didn't do anything wrong! Remember what's meant to be is meant to be and believe me whatever the case...it's for your very best. I've had a few serious relationships and boy did I feel the world coming to an end! But surely soon after you find yourself again...and remember you are just as good or better than anyone else!
