Very interesting post, xeno-x. Right off the bat, without much thought, I would say that the English teacher did herself in by running from the police; the frost and the hailstorm fell on the just and the unjust alike; and, the head of the kitchen probably lost his job because he has a lousy attitude/personality and wasn't right for the job in the first place. As human beings, though, we have a tendency to blame God (or anyone else in our path) for things/situations unwanted.
