"Deer in the Headlights Expression". I LOVED THAT! I LOVED THAT! I LOVED THAT! I don't think there is any way to better to describe how people look who aren't ACTUALLY listening to you. What's best is. . , they don't realize that you're perfectly aware (just by seeing that expression) that they aren't interested in anything you have to say! LOL They don't realize that you're wanting to bag ass to get away from them because that expression is getting on your ever last nerve!! haha

Enjoyed your post!

Waiting To Talk

Uh, what'd you say?   JUST KIDDING!!

When I'm talking to someone who doesn't seem to be paying attention to what I'm saying, I'll quiz them. No, I don't ask, "Did you hear what I said?" Instead, like a teacher, I'll ask them questions that test their comprehension. For example, if I ask, "Do you think the accident had anything to do with all the deer on the highway?" and THEY reply, "Yeah, how 'bout those Red Sox?", I feel pretty confident they weren't paying attention.  Then, I may embarrass them.

so, it's not all about me?  Maybe that's why all these years I have been so alone....lol.  I know people who it is "all about me"...they usually are the main ones who seem to be at my house all the time.
