No, we are going to be far enough apart that we really are not going to be competition for each other. His store is over a half and hour's drive from where mine will be. I'll be just west of Denver and he is up in Boulder.

It is much more complex than that, especially if you need to sell the whole idea to a bank to get a loan. That is what I am learning right now.
But the market looks good and there is little competition in the area right now. I ma working really hard and figuring out ways to attract people to my store when I open it.

My recollection of the key ingredients
for a business plan include answering the following questions: Who are my customers? Where are my customers? How best do I reach my customers? How many customers (sales) must I achieve to cover overhead and make an acceptable profit? Are there a sufficient number of such recurring customers in the vicinity to make my endeavor a long-term success?
Many small businesses fail because the planning stage did not address these issues. Hey good luck? Perhaps I’ll be able to visit your store the next time I go snow skiing?
