I read some of your poetry and I know you're feeling sort of confused about things at home. I hope you sort it out. That must be hard with everything else, too. Time will sort it out for you, when you're ready (even if you think you are ready now, you may not be). That Lt. is fine and home now in the states, leaving the military next summer. Our relationship didn't survive Iraq, but we are good friends. We split the summer before this last one. Just so you know, it was his decision. I wouldn't have done it with him over there, although it was the right decision. He still writes here. :) Thanks for asking.

Ariala, that's so true.
I know that I will always love, in some way, those I've loved in the past. They always will be a little part of me. But, I think everyone has that one person that stays put in our heart no matter time or circumstance. Even if it's not meant to be. I don't regret one minute though. Not one.

Yes, I suppose it may be a reality. I've been very happy and totally in love with other men, and I'm sure I will be in love again. I had to let this one go, but up until now, he really was the love of my life and from time to time I just miss him like it was yesterday. It was right, but sometimes I want to say....fuck what's right. I think you feel me on this.
I just realized that somehow when you changed your name I never put you in my favorites....I'm sorry. I haven't been reading much of anything, but I will remedy at least the favorites part now.

Masky, you can be greedy....it's a compliment. :)
My poetry is funny, it comes in big bunches, then sometimes not for a while. All I can say is I have about a year's worth here so if you are jonesing and I'm stuck you can read back a bit if you'd like. I'm sort of stuck now, as you can see. Longing....yes, it sneaks up on me sometimes for this man. Thanks for reading and for waiting.
