As much as I wish Bush were not President . . .
He is far better than John Kerry; that would have been a disaster, had Kerry been elected.

I don't think Bush is stupid, and there is much about his policies I do agree with. I just think that on domestic issues he is too liberal.

No matter what I say about whatever topic...

...or many other people, DM just decides that it's his duty to be shitty.  My shoes have a higher IQ than Bush, but I am not impressed with either party at the moment, and I am tired of actors getting elected because they are popular, not because they are qualified.  Arnold is not qualified and he's mucking up my state.  This bothers me.  Now the people here bitch because he is not putting through laws they want and is breaking promises, well, you elected a Republican governor to a Democratic state who wasn't remotely qualified, so hush.  I don't like the nature of politics now, and I happen to like Ben Affleck.  However, I'd like to see him doing Kevin Smith films (although I think he's very bright) instead of trying to be a politician.  He's not qualified, just like so many already in office.  I just want things to get better somehow.

I didn't vote for Bush, either.
But, what has that to do with Affleck?

And Everything Out Of George W. Bush's Mouth...

has positively influenced you?

I'll give you some credit, but it's a credit you probably won't enjoy.

Give me some credit!
I've heard Affleck speak on topics and was negatively impressed.

What's Really Stupid...

is to think that politics and government belong to some exclusive club whose members somehow become uniquely qualified simply because they belong to that exclusive club of politicians.

People scoffed when Ronald Reagan announced his presidential bid.

I'd bet my mortgage that Ben Affleck has a higher IQ than George W. Bush, is better equipped to absorb the facts of a situation, and has far keener analytic, organizational, and leadership skills than the current President.

What's really stupid is to dismiss out of hand anyone with political aspirations simply because you think they shouldn't show an interest in such things.

I can't comprehend this kind of stuff.
Jennifer Garner, his new wife, is from Virginia I think -- but Affleck can't be a Republican.  Much less a politician.  Then again, the politicians aren't doing so hot right now in either party.  What do I know, I live in a Democratic state with a Republican governor...and even the evening news calls him the Governator.  It's all just going to hell.

I have also heard about that funny piece of news. But what I don't know or understand is under which banner or political party will he be fronting?
