Sadly we have been without gas for worse reasons, like a trucker strike. It wasn't a couple of gas stations, it was all of them for a weekend.

A couple of gas stations actually ran out of gas here, and I live north of
Dallas! I couldn't believe it!

hey, what's up. We do the massive over stocking for hurricane season also. Everytime there's a threat of a storm, people stock up on water, canned foods, batteries, beer. you know the necessities. I'm so glad that people were better able to prepare for Rita, and eveything will be back to normal soon. Although, your right we are still in season.
