I believe that some ways God has used these hurricanes in positive ways...
...is in how they have exposed corruption and mismanagement to the entire nation and beyond as well as how some people have actually been led to better lives than they were living.
These levees should be getting built now instead of the funding continuing to go to pork barrel projects, because the powers-that-be know that this will be the only acceptable way to build back and make it so that people will want to live and work there again.
And I think that the re-built New Orleans will contain nicer homes and better transportation for the poor people--not to mention greater attention being paid to their other needs.
The people who will be returning to New Orleans will be people who love the city and want to be there as opposed to those who felt trapped there with no way to escape even before the hurricanes attacked the area.
