A new remote or a new wedding ring?????
Fortunately I found my ring in the garbage. I had taken it off in the bathroom to wash my hands (something I don't normally do,) (taking it off in the bathroom, not washing my hands!) and when I wiped the counter with some kleenex I must have swept up the ring.

It is a pity but I think you could always buy a new one. Perhaps better than what your have just lost.
