It's not global warming...
They had the same warming trends in that part of the ocean in the 20s and 30s with many big hurricanes in that area. It's common for hurricanes and the ocean to go in trends, and it all depends on how warm the water is. This year, it's especially warm, and it was the same in those decades. This is according to a meteorologist that is an expert in this particular thing and has a fancy title I forgot. :) I hope you are okay.
