Ahhh Hemlocker you pull my leg agin'?
OK. Brisbane would have to have the mildest tropical climate one could wish for. Hemlocker the point was not that I drew the fish in a variety of positions - but - that I drew the fish ONCE and then pushed and pulled and changed the positions in the frame!
So I am teaching the kids about the beginnings of animation.
One might introduce a fish over series of frames so it looks like the fish are swimming up to the hook.
You ask about the size of the hook?
It was from an article asking people the hookline they use when they write cartoons. Every cartoon or comic strip should have a hook right?
To get you hooked?
Yes?
Thanks for taking the time to write - I always enjoy your posts they are fun.

Jo--
I took an art class a couple of times and tried to draw my dog in different positions, but couldn't do it. Of course fish are probably harder and I'm not you. If I was, I'd live in Brisbane. Bet that'd be nice. I love fish, but little goldfish with a big hook? Maybe big ocean perch or black rockfish would look good--not that the goldfish don't. Hemlocker

This is new and creative! We often run out of new objects to draw within the same frame.
