At this time, I've had time to read the first page of this article and...

...scan the rest (read more thoroughly later), but I've just learned things about bananas that I didn't know--such as how they come in many different flavors, shapes, and sizes.

I know we have something in Indiana called a paw-paw that is a kind of cousin to bananas.

It's shaped like a small potato, in a light-green skin, and its meat is the color of an orange dreamcicle and contains some black, shiny seeds that remind me a lot of the pebbles known as Indian Tears.  It's creamy and sweet, and its season is now!
