"John Roberts made the Democratic inquisitors look foolish." Not hard to do at all, They do this to themselves with alarming frequency.

John Roberts made the Democratic inquisitors look foolish, and that's a good thing. And now, Justic O'Connor's replacement is the hot button toppic. There has been much in the media about the President's next nomination, it should be a woman, a moderate, and I have even heard a few conservatives voice concern that the President will nominate a moderate, breaking his promise to nominate strict Constitutionalists. They have already forgottn, Judge Roberts was nominated to replace Justice O'Connor in the first place.

Thanks for commenting, flame!
If I understand you right, it is indeed intriguing how hard it is to be confirmed unless you agree to the leftist agenda. Compare that to the nearly unanimous vote for far-left ACLU attorney Ruth Bader Ginzberg.

It's intriguing who it is now difficult to confirm a judge just because he has to meet the whims of leftist.
