You're words are so true.  When you give openly, you create space for the Divine to shower you with more blessings and abundance.  Who are we to say that what we have now is what was intended?  Isn't it written that "all I have is yours?" (or something to that effect).....the Divine Creator wants us to have prosperity, and have it in abundance.  It is our job to do what's in our power to draw it to us, and this includes asking for help.

I'm glad you enjoyed the post.  (I just love stories...grew up with a great storyteller, my father).

So glad you enjoyed it...Mr. Barrie does have a great point to ponder - what we intend & what turns out with life circumstances often have different results.  We are truly humbled when we look at what we intended to do with what has transpired.  Reminds me that life happens to us while we're busy making plans.

beautiful post! holding onto what we have prevents growth into what we could be, were it not for the fear of losing. great lesson.

Great Thought
What a lovely story. This reminds me that when you give openly you open yourself for abundance. Post like this adds value to what blogging is all about. Rich thoughts. I like it.
