I think that this is the cutest story!!!
Will be tuned in to when you tell about the assassination.
You and Caroline are around the same age, so that must have been disturbing hearng about someone your age losing her Daddy.
I was older, but I had those thoughts--and the President and my dad were both born in 1917, so they were pretty much the same age with JFK being six months older.

Legend has it that, one day,
a young man was walking along the beach
when he came across an old man picking up starfish
that had washed ashore and tossing them back into the ocean.
He informed the old man that there were thousands of starfish
along countless miles of beach...
"Do you really believe that you can save them all?" he asked.
The old man, without a word, bent over
and picked up another starfish,
tossed it out into the ocean,
and, then, responded:
"I saved this one!"
