This reminds me of these human maniquin mimes...
...my folks and I happened across one summer when down in New Orleans!

Legend has it that, one day,
a young man was walking along the beach
when he came across an old man picking up starfish
that had washed ashore and tossing them back into the ocean.
He informed the old man that there were thousands of starfish
along countless miles of beach...
"Do you really believe that you can save them all?" he asked.
The old man, without a word, bent over
and picked up another starfish,
tossed it out into the ocean,
and, then, responded:
"I saved this one!"
Keeping that in mind, please read this!

WOW!
That was very interesting, a very different poem indeed. It had romance and humor, two things not often written about together in a poem. I very much enjoyed reading it.
