I LOVED this entry!! Ohhhhh, the images you stirred (describing the spandex pants, etc.) As I mentioned before, I find your blog intriguing.

Glad you enjoyed reading, Silver.
Seems all of us know some oversized hotties that just can't keep their stuff to themselves.

And there's a thin line between
what is legal and what isn't. Besides, just how comfortable can you be if you have to be continuously pulling down a too short skirt or keeping breasts covered under too little material.

Gosh, I'm a size 8, give or take, which if not exactly a hulking mammoth, but I'm not real small either. I am too self-conscious in clothes that are really tight or revealing. I like them to
fit (not a fan of the "over-sized" look) but too tight is just wrong. And I think the same thing about thin women to some extent. I hate that so many of them think that just because they're skinny they have to show pretty much all they can legally show.

wordsmith, I too don't like the sight of overweight people in skimpy clothing. But I guess some people just don't care what they look like.

Krisles...
That's true as well. Sometimes men do kind of do a double take - just as we do - and wonder 'what the heck?'

I just did a piggyback post off of this one....it's about when I taught my daughter about how men are about this very subject. I gave you credit for the inspiration...thanks for it! And, I'm with you...I do not understand other than if they see that they are getting admired they just figure, "go for it" - but I think sometimes they mistake sheer disbelief for admiration!

I'm with you and that Englishman. I love having something left to the imagination, otherwise there's no more mystery. And I have a great imagination....and I love a mystery...

Temple, I had to laugh at your comment.
I dunno why I'd think anybody would want to see an oversized gut on display.
Men are so different from us. A man may squeeze a huge gut into a tee shirt, or choose to go around his yard with his beer gut naked, but that 's it. We women are a different breed. Some of us seem compelled to show what would best be left covered. Which makes me wonder why we let ourselves get to 250 plus pounds if we know we like to dress skimpily. And you know how hard those pounds are to get off. I've been trying to get rid of 10-15 pounds for the last 10 years! Chalk that up to lack of discipline and love of food.
Thankfully, my mother was almost flat chested, so I wasn't ever subjected to one of those bear hugs. Dunno if I would have survived being hugged like that.
Trucker belly? Gotta love that.

Blackcat, you have a point there.
Being attractive doesn't necessarily mean being half naked. If I were a man, I don't think I'd be interested in a woman who walks around too scantily clad. Somehow, it says something about here. Being attractive is one thing. X-rated is quite another.

Telly, I can't tell you how uncomfortable I feel
when my clothes fit too tight. I don't feel right and I don't look right. I don't know how they do it!

I laughed so VERY out loud at this!
Let me tell you, I live by the beach, and there are girls here that I do NOT understand. Like, you have a trucker belly my friend, why on earth would you wear that half shirt and show me? Ewwwwww! I don't want to see that on a man, much less you. Ick. I've been svelte and I've been big, and I do not show off what is not meant to be shown off. Now, I'm just leaving the land of a bit chubby. Finally. I like to show a little but please, age and size appropriate (okay, maybe we don't have to totally always stick to age appropriate, what the hell....). And, 15 pounds is SO not big. I like curvy, it's womanly. There's a line in "Pulp Fiction" by Bruce Willis' girlfriend that says something like.....what men love to look at isn't what they like to touch and feel.....some truth to that. This line is my favorite: Black women are fat like no other race. We have these exaggerated curves and tend to be big in the breast, leg and thighs (hmmm, sounds like a very healthy chicken, doesn't it?). I don't eat meat, which was good for me reading this! This is funny and not, all at the same time, as I write a post in your comments. There was this very big black woman who just had baby right after Hurricane Katrina. She was in labor during, and was separated from her 5 year old. After the baby was born, they found her boy. He runs in, she grabs him, and pulls him into her breasts crying, "My baby! My baby!" Like only a big, black mama in that moment can. Can you hear it? But it was very exaggerated, very touching. I was laughing and crying all at once, because I kept hearing all these black male comedians talking about their Moms doing that to them and all they were thinking is (I think Eddie Murphy said this), "Mama! I can't breathe!" Just a little something from my twisted archived brain. :)

I think this should apply to all people... not just the fat. Why should we
exclude the ugly? LOL Seriously, dressing attractively doesn't mean half naked. There's something to be said for leaving some to the imagination?

and really wonder if some sort of laws could not be passed just for the sake of the rest of our sanity. Especially in eating establishments. Nothing an ruin a persons appetite or cause someone to swear off food all together than some 300 lb. beauty letting it all hang out.

I tend to just cover up and go loose whenever possible, but yeah, I agree with you wholeheartedly about wondering why anyone would want to wear tight clothing when overweight like that.

Would that a little extra flesh here and there
would keep the 'well-endowed' suitably covered.
