He is nuts. Most of this story is true. I'm writing it as fiction based on a true story instead of just writing the true story so that he won't catch wind of it and sue me or something worse. Also, should I need to, I can use a little artistic license to spruce the story up down the road. Thanks for reading. Appreciate the comment.

Very intense and well-written!
You've captured the image of an abused wife really well--right down to where, even when she realizes that she's married to a monster, she will continue to think that this is somehow all her fault.
