Mcnab--they said all officers were out on calls and since the guy had left,
well, it wasn't an emergency any longer. We've had enormous cut backs in our police force here.

It's amazing how you can just be plodding along through one ordinary day after another when something like this happens. Whew! Makes you grateful for the less eventful times. Glad you are both ok...

Frightening Holly...
..though the right to bear arms is too. (Just reading comments.) That's was a very scary situation for a 17 year old to go through...so sorry to hear that it happened to her. Thank heavens for cell phones eh? Hope she'll be able to get through this okay Holly.

The title of this one scared me, Holls. So much for security guards, right? Some security... You need to upgrade from one weenie dog to a German shepherd, Lady. Or take advantage of your right to bear arms, since it's just you girls most of the time. Glad you're all right.
