DamonLeigh..
Beautiful Post!

"Oh the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are -- chaff and grain together -- certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away."

That's the most beautiful explication of romantic love I have ever read.
The finest poets of the ages could not express it better.

Damon, from what I know of you, she's one lucky lady herself! A great
match for sure!

Was Tomsk one of the Wombles? We're looking for a name for the baby...

So is she called Tomsk?

Seriously, that's a lovely history and character sketch for us and it does make her more real now.

I love the dog wash idea - brilliant.

This is so beautifully touching Damon
The "old fashioned" male/female ways work well for many couples - not always easy to admit in this day and age. Sounds like a perfect fit, sealed by true love. Best wishes on your business ventures and the impending arrival - what an awesome family you guys are.

well, well...
I don't know whether to envy you two or to give a deep sigh and think: it's possible. Maybe one day I'll luck into something like that...  I'm keeping my fingers crossed at the moment because my middle son seems to have found a good woman at last...  Great post!!!

wonderful to hear someone being so nice about their spouse. You obviously love her lots. Good that you guys made it through the first year. (They say that's the hardest) Good luck with baby!
