I don't want to be a naysayer
and not in these circumstances.. but just a suggestion: wait and ask Passion what the best way to go about this is. I was going to donate some money today and was reminded of how things happened with the red cross after 911. If you don't mind where it goes, then the red cross is a viable option but if you want it only to go to the victims of Katrina...I would wait.

I gave some $$$$ to the red cross.
It was the money I was saving up to buy a DVD player/recorder. Sigh...Now I'll check out the whitehouse chat room and try e-mailing Arnold. (He is the gov of CA isn't he?)

THIS POST IS A MUST~PARTICULARLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN WHO
ask questions about Katrina. Great ideas. I am not a child but I have to be doing something for those who are in need. This is a sad sad sight. Thank you for your posts.
