Fiona...isn't it the most frustrating thing though?

I used www.LetMeHost.com  I saved the images to my pc from the net, inserted it into the LetMeHost upload box and then inserted the link into the blogit template. Write, Edit, Change Template etc...

Oh where
How true, I often put things away safely - unfortunately they end up being safe even from me. How did you change your blog page so that you could have pictures?

Oops! Seems I'm trying to give you a new moniker.

Quiry, the serious problems don't start
while he's moving stuff around house, but if he starts moving thing in, then I'll have a problem.

Roony,

There ought to be some kind of 'therapy' for this kind of illness.   And bad buying habits?  Don't get me started on that one. I need to start a shoppers-gone-crazy support group.

I too love to, as my other half puts it, "shovel" things away from sight too.  I have boxes and drawers of papers and things everywhere.  I am always amazing myself with the brand new bargains that I just had to have that turn up a year later!  Good to see I am not alone.

Thankyou for visiting my blog by the way.

Cheers

That's priceless, Symphony.

You can't exactly blame him for those items gone MIA since you're not 100% of who did the moving.

Joe, you hit the nail on the head.

Most of the time when I move paper, it goes from some surface into a draw to maintain an air of neatness. It's hell when those scraps of paper start spawning more paper.

Wow are you my long lost sister?????????????
I am exactly the same...now my son is always hiding things...I lost my holiday home keys and was sooo worried about going "real" home cos I couldn't lock up....then I found them under his pillow......so many things go missing...sometimes I don't know if it is him or me.....LOL

I plead guilty
I have a tendency to shove things into drawers in order to keep the house surface clean. Though I don't have a problem finding the car keys. ., I do often have problems finding the good ole remote.

Ms. Vision,
At least you are giving her a headstart.

lost socks
I have this problem with socks and I seem to have passed it on to my daughter who has jsut started to 'tidy up'. Knowing this whenever I buy socks for her I always try to buy the same clour or pattern in bulk but she still manages to end up with 9 odd socks in her drawer.

Cass, if you hadn't caught yourself
I'm sure you'd be wondering days down the line who put the jug in the cupboard.  Hmm

Divine,
Thanks.

I know what you mean about inheriting traits. My mother was always absentminded and I seem to be following in her footsteps. Today I caught myself putting the water jug into the cupboard instead of back in the fridge!

I am enjoying your blogs.

Hope you're not planning on doing a disappearing act.

Libertine,
I always feel a little  Sheepish when I find things where they should be after looking everywhere else.   Thanks for visiting.

Bright,
Oh, the tales I'll have to tell him!

You sound just like me.  Unfortunately that sentence made perfect sense.  I get very confused sometimes when things are where they should be.

Hi.. I am laughing outloud at you but that menas I'm laughing at myself.. I would put those little pebbles away ( where you can find them) and when he has his own fridge one day.. put them in there and tell the story..

Silvermoon,

I experience the same things!  My husband is a neat freak. Things must be put back to within an inch of where they were originally. I, on the other hand am a packrat and only neat in spurts.  I see hints of his father in my son when he arranges his toy cars in precise lines. Only he knows why he stashes things where he does and you're right, I'm these places make perfect sense to him. Thanks for stopping by.

Pepples in the fridge.  How cute can you get?!  My husband and I have been trying to teach our son since the womb to put things away where they belong.  So far, it's working pretty well, considering his age.  But this child is a compulsive pack rat, just like Mommy, and I'm hoping this child doesn't lose his father's ability to put things where they belong (I only endorse the code, I'm nearly incapable of practicing it).  I'm sure your son's odd resting places for things of value (keys, remote) make a world of sense to his young eyes!
