I have been mildly disturbed about that myself...
At The College of William and Mary, which I attended for one wonderful/terrible year, there is a long path that winds through the woods, connecting the new campus to the old campus (Jeffersonian era). Along the path are many lights some of which similarly go off when you approach them, and not just once in awhile. I did not believe my presence was causing it, so the reliability of it began to irritate me. Maybe that's part of what made me go crazy and not be able to continue studies there. It's the demon lights! Nay, the Damon Lights!

Ha, that's nothing. I've been parking cars with my mind for years. Very interesting account of people, places and things. I have two academic friends who live in Western Australia. They are both PhD.s in Asian History. They are John and Katsu Young. John is originally a Canadian, and Katsu, Japanese-American. Quite interesting folks. Hemlocker
