You know what I was thinking...and it really scares me....What happened in New Orleans....is like a small scale "end of the world"....dead bodies and animal carcasses floating in the water, looters stealing guns and killing people, police trying to rescue people as all hell breaks loose....

Mother Nature is not God...but even if she were...the weather and natural disasters kills everyone regardless of race, sex, religion, morality, ethincity.
and regardless of race, sex, religion, etc, people always disappear from other people's lives. intentional or not. always.
something to think about.

No shit...
Mama Nature is and has always been in control...humanity may be getting a little big for its britches but that is only hubris, she is still boss and we would do well to remember that always...peace Hacker.

Yes indeed. The Greeks called her Gaia, and it's she, not us who's in control.
Funny how some people always have to blame someting/someone for acts of Gaia, isn't it?
Good luck with your blog
