Great Story!!!
As you said, it's a diamond-in-the-rough (that is, needs some smoothing out here and there), but it's still wonderfully-told and attention-keeping.
One thing I'm wondering about is the guy at the first of the story named Gene.
Will he figure into the story again later? or Is he kinda like Chuck Cunningham on Happy Days who just kinda evaporated without explanation?
One thing I can see is how he helps to paint the picture of what a nice girl Tiffany is--almost nice-to-a-fault, making her a mark for abusive, control-freak men.
I'll be very interested in seeing how this story develops!

Oops! I'm absolutely NOT going to read this, because...
...I've, obviously, bumped into another novel and want to start at the beginning and work my way back here.
After I've finished Chapter 14, it will be time to read this!
