That's cause it's dead.
I can't believe people still visit a blog which hasn't been updated since, like, Sly Stallone was cool.

Not very upbeat...
Prefer watching life instead of death.

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it...
not sure "funny" would have been the first word I would have thought of to describe it, though.

I assume she felt she was being "poetic", bettyboop1967.
Otherwise, why not just down a whole bottle of sleeping pills?

That's a really good line, ariel70!

All things considered, I'd still rather be famous than not, word.smith.
The dedication is an inside joke between myself and a few of my fellow former film school students .. who, ironically enough, will likely never even see it.

madame po
I always say that life just isn't worth killing yourself overLOL

I just wish people would think things through...
a little more thoroughly before taking such a drastic (and irreversible) step, Sandra Harris. Seemes to me suicide is the absolute antithesis of "looking before you leap".

I wouldn't exactly say I "like" suicide, Gubby!
(Although, all forms of death are fascinating.)

Plus, never heard of any of the people you mention.

It's certainly an interesting quote, Marshall...

Idiots, all of 'em...
Especially the one who stabbed herself in the heart.  Now that had to take a while.

Ugh..Madame....remind me never to become famous.

Seems depression and everything else follows!

Clara Blandick had some restraint on her, not to remove the plastic bag when she felt herself suffocating. I assume the dedication is for a friend of yours.

I've had personal experience with suicide attempts. It really isn't something that can be explained to someone who's never been there. Suicide isn't about depression... it's beyond depression. It's a place that one arrives at. It's a solution to extinguish pain. This is of coursed based on my experience. I don't pretend to know what it is for others. I know... hard to believe. Sandi

Like suicide? Check out Hugz_and_kisses (she's moved to her own site, jodydonelley.com). I thought she was pretty cool for a while, but she is OBSESSED with suicide. You'd have thought she'd have killed herself by now, but she seems to be savouring it, like a fine wine.

Suicide...

will remain a mystery to me...why do ppl feel the need to end up with their lives...my own cousin committed suicide when she was 26...

About suicide, D12's member Proof says:

"If I was you, suicide would be a way of life. If you was me , you'd kill you."(Proof)

This is his favorite quote and his latest album, Searching For Jerry Garcia, mentions  suicide theme a lot...

Capucine was a tremendously beautiful actress who did a phenomenal job
in North To Alaska.  Also you mention Lilith - an excellent, if slow book I highly recommend.

I'll admit, I've considered killing myself in the past ...
however, you know what holds me back?

I feel very strongly you should never commit suicide, until you've actually accomplished something. Ala Kurt Cobain ... or that dwarf from "Fantasy Island".

MADAME P.O.
I often wonder about suicide.. Nomatter how hard some things have been in my life, I never concidered suicide as a option. A short time ago a elderly man I know, began to become very depressed due to health issues. The doctor told him that he couldn't drive anymore because of the med's that he was taking. That night he picked up his gun and shot himself.... It is very sad for the families to endure! Good Post!
