What a snake!
I admire you taking a stand on the issue, Word. I don't know what annoys me more--mindless sheep or those who manipulate mindless sheep. LOL But, they both are everywhere.

Kodachrome,
You haven't said it a minute too early. There were some new developments today.

Sounds Good, MsVision....
It does pay to kind of assess the situation and move forward from that point. Some people just need a little extra kindness to bring out the best in them and there are others with whom we just have to learn to get along to make life bearable.

I love that saying about the cow. I've discovered recently the benefits of exemplary behaviour at work. I had a hard time for a while with a colleague but I worked through it, bit my tongue and did my best and now I'm gaining a lot of support from that colleague which should help me to meet my personal objectives.

My too, Telly.

It may be a long time coming, but you can't take advantage of people and situation and not expect circumstances to turn around one day.

Thanks Offbeat, I do try to be careful around him...
You never know when it's your turn around people like these and I agree that people have to be held accountable for their actions.

WORD
Sounds like the VP has his own agenda. Be careful around folks like that, they usually carry a hit list. I have worked with too many to count like the VP. These types are not leaders and the President did the right thing by making him accountable! just my 2 cents!!

Strat, I hope he can deal with it when the time comes
and remember just how much agony and mischief he's caused around here.

Your work stories lately are strengthening my desire to quit my job and become a drifter, relying on the kindness of strangers and maybe doing a little finger painting...

You're absolutely right, Word.
What goes around comes around, and this guy will soon find his can kicked to the curb before he knows what size boot hit him.

Good Morning.. You acted in a professional and mature manner. For some reason, I feel you will get recognition for this in the future. If not.... You still deserve it!

Naw Ginnie,

Madame, I don't have the patience all the time.
And it rather worse to see people older than myself, behaving as if they have no sense.

Thank God ...
I'll (most likely) never have to play "office politics". I simply don't have the disposition for it.

Funny, though ... your situation sounds very similiar to stories my mother shares of her experiences (on various boards and committees).

I do not like green eggs and ham!
