reavendarke, a very moving piece of literary art. If you have not done so, you might read
Robert's Frost, Acquainted With The Night, or Stopping By The Woods On a Snowy Evening.   Yes, nature itself does have a wonderful effect on us, that is why the largest book in the Bible, Psalms talks more about God and nature than any other subject.  Compare Psalm 29, which is written about a thunderstorm and your poem.

true, but if you perceive me standing in your room is it the sense that makes me real, or the longing?
