You painted a vivid, larger-than-life picture of an emotion known to everyone, in varying degrees ... and I'd wager a bet that you felt proud, happy even -- to have been able to express it just so. If I had written that poem, I know I would have felt better ... more accomplished, more real, happier. Thanks for capturing my experience in my teen years.

I think most people are aware that too much sadness isn't a good thing. Sometimes though people have more than their fair share.

Original...I'm sure many people can relate to this...I hope though, that all people realize it's not good to become too comfortable with sadness...it's not our natural state. Nice poem, though!
