Hemlocker,

Thanks for reading and commenting.  Actually, this is just my first draft.  Once I get through it, I will revise it and make all changes at that time.  I'd like to get it published but first I want to get it done here where I can receive helpful comments like yours.  Thanks again.

this is a good story
that holds the reader's attention. I can see it in expanded form as a sort of anti-romance novel. The format is rather weird, though. It looks like a series of short vignettes, which it really isn't. Why not re-format it into a more conventional paragraph structure?

Madame P.O.,

I don't want to call it My Life With a Sociopath because, though most of it is true, not all of it is.  It is being written as fiction based on my own experiences.  I will admit that it is very close to, and in some cases, exactly the way it was.  Some things I just can't change because if I do it will only detract from the appearance of the evil that was present.

I'm sorry you mother has called you a sociopath.  It seems to me that any mother who truly loved and cared for her children would be the first to want to deny that kind of a label, but if she couldn't deny it, then certainly not call her child that face to face or behind her back.  It sounds to me as if your mother has some issues that need to be taken care of.

You have my sympathy.  Thanks for reading and commenting.

Nice story. Though, shouldn't this be called...
"My Life with a Sociopath"?

Btw, I've actually been deemed a "sociopath" ... however, I don't recognize my mother's psychiatric degree.
