You're right, Ca88andra...
I don't eat much sugar either, but when you look at the carb content of the foods you're eating you'll be shocked. Those carbs are broken down into sugar by your body to be used as fuel--but most of us get an excess..

I read this and immediately thought "I don't eat that much sugar!" But then I stopped to think and I guess I do. Its not the sugar you can see like candy or sodas, but the hidden sugar in juices, dried fruit, etc that must be the culprit. I will have to watch what I eat from now on.

You're so right about the diet
I once heard someone say that we should all be living a diabetic lifestyle - not because everyone's diabetic, but because the diet and lifestyle changes are ideal for everyone. Glad to hear this is working for you.
