take it from someone who's wasted a lot of time being pulled close, pushed away, spinning out there at someone else's convenience. Or, perhaps I was the one holding the string, when all's said and done. Maybe I'd gotten used to having the bathroom all to myself, to coming and going at my own whim, and when he tried to hold on, I was the one who let go.
