Hacker has actually written quite a bit throughout his blogs about his experiences. He does a great job of describing what it is really like, how people assume things, some of his unusual interests, etc. Although I still am not seeing a few of the things he claims he is...   And it is really interesting too by the way...

Military Wifey

You're not dense and you don't ask too many questions. Very very very few people know very much about Schizophrenia I have learned over the past year and a half or so. I've made sort of a personal mission to help people understand what it really is and what it really isn't. I think I'll either repost some of my older stuff or re-write it and put it up =) It should answer the questions you asked here

Factor

From what they told me, it didn't sound like there were any structural abnormalities in my brain, but I'm not entirely sure. I'd have to ask them about it, and now that you bring it up it sounds like it would be interesting to know =)

Forgive Me If I Am Being Really Dense Here

I don't know much about this for me I generally have to stop my OWN voice in my head when things get scary....long story.

The most I know about this is from the movie "A Beautiful Mind".  He had learned to identify more often than not when the voices were not "really there".  I don't know how else to word that.  Being aware of your condition are you able to do that when it occurs?  I am curious how you deal with that if you are willing to share that at some time.

Sorry if I ask too many questions.  The human mind facsinates me.

That's pretty cool, UH.

To see that on the MRI would be pretty wild. (I know it would be better not to, but you know what I mean.) Does your MRI show a difference from the "average brain?"

My MRI was completely normal except for having unusually large tonsils. That's tonsils of the brain, not the throat. Have no idea that those are though... and it's got nothing to do with MS.
