I've tried to understand it, but, I just don't get it. *sigh* It's the reason I don't try reading poetry.

That is a deep one, OriginalInfluence. It is very hard to sit with a dying loved one and watch them fade away and feel the guilt of being left to carry on. The answer to the question, "Why?" never comes in this lifetime.
