Excuse the Raven for tiptoeing into your discussion. First thanks for reading the inaugural Darke Opinions. Second Honeykat I'd have to say it's both. The litmus test is how does a person come to the decision to change their character. It's probably the hardest thing a person can do.

Freud or Erickson??? Id the ego or the super ego???
Do you think a person can change thier character? Stop doing what they would normally do? It can be God or Behavior modification ? Which is it or Is it both!

Comment from Pewee to Crabby about Personality

I did not give a recipe about what went into making personality.  I simply stated that man has control over what he exhibits on the surface. In other words, personality can be manipulated  to manifest in any way the person desires it.   Meanwhile, what is emitted from his subconscious mind, which is the agent that carries out events in his life, world and affairs, are more deeply rooted.  Since our subconscious mind is the permanent tape recorder of events and also supplies the feelings to accompany conscious thoughts, they are not so easily manipulated.  I speak from a Metaphysical viewpoint.  However, the only true character is your Christ-Mind, as it is perfect and un-flawed because it is the image-likeness of God.  The rest is of human origin.

Man is Spirit  (Perfect - The Christ)    Soul (the entire mind with the conscious supplying thoughts and the subconscious supplying feelings and a permanent recording of every event that has occurred in every life one has lived.  It is the subconscious mind that garners the forces to manifest things in man's life, world and affairs, based upon his most dominant thoughts.  The effects can be softened through consciousness of The Christ in him.

If you think that I am full of crap, that is just your thoughts which arise from your wanting to be right all the time. That is okay with me, but I am not into lewd name-calling.  I have been taught to never refer to any man or woman as anything less than what their true nature is:  A child of God, therefore, an heir and brother or sister to me. (Universal Oneness of all men).

Pewee... you are full of crap... personality is one part genetics one part environment

it is pretty much set in stone by the time a person is five... character on the other hand continues to develop over a person's lifetime.  And as to the rest of your comment... Pewee you're full of crap... and if you are going to quote Crabby...g'dang it at least have the guts to give her credit!!! You certainly don't have any problem when it comes to dead authors and philosophers... oh but then again, that is just to prove how g'dang superior you are.

And one more thing... Pewee, you're full of crap.

Pewee's Comments on "Neuter the Number 1"

When Chris2303 remains the number 1 so often, it proves that "As the outer, so the inner." Or. "Thoughts held in kind produce after their own kind."  What I am simply saying is for the persons who avidly read the comments from Chris2303, to them, those comments must correspond to their dark side, but they only publish what they think people would want to read in their own blogs.

Remember, Personality is what people want folks to think they are, meanwhile, character is who they are. When I talked about the darkness and negativity of the writings, I was criticized - even told by one Blogger that I would be humiliated by her and Chris2303.  My response was no one could ever humiliate me, because I know who I am.  As the sign over the door of the Temple of Delphi states - "Man, know thyself."  The second sign after entering is "Nothing in excess."  If you know those things, you are ready to go ahead with your life, and in this particular case, your writings.
