Sixth Generation Woman and Grandmother
My grandmothers pulled me outside to watch sunsets, plant gardens and then taught me to eat soft boiled eggs in egg cups and to put milk in my tea. I wanted to that and more.
Thanks for your kind comments. A grandmother's job is serious and magical and most of all silly. I like to surprise my grandchildren.

Enjoying your writing
Every wonderful memory of childhood was the result of an experience with my grandma. You appear to have an awareness of the tremendous influence you have on your grandchildren's lives. I'm a grandma now too, writing my memoirs in journals at Six Generations of First Born Women. You may not like my writing, but I love my first grandaughter very much and hope to learn some lessons from you.

BENZINHA - Could you be the next J.K.Rowling - All it takes is a great love for children and
writing skills and you seem to have both.    You might like to read my poems on children at For The Love of Children (Family/Ed) and one called Wash The Children's Feet on America's Writing Studio (Writing)
