answer your post question which incited this flurry, there is nothing wrong with adult males having sex with 13 year old girls in many many societies, and who is to say what is right or wrong for each group, not I.
In America, it is beyond frowned upon and taught to be the major NO-NO of our group. But Native Americans used to have young wives and old pioneers married teenaged girls and in Mexco, it still happens in some small villages. In Africa, in South American areas 'out beyond the furthest suburbs' it is accepted, in India and Arabic households in some places, it happens. Sometimes they marry and sometimes they don't.
One society's 'rape' is another society's exciting sexual interlude- depends upon the society and the nation and the times. Have you read some of those Personal Ads lately in our newspapers and online?!?!? So, definition by the surrounding society decides it all, no?
I personally don't think of it as okay in 99.9% of all occasions as American girls are so very ignorant of real life and kept very immature, but there are some 13 year olds ready to hook up with older men and they shall not be stopped by laws and society and their parents, and those young ladies get some idiot men into deep and abiding trouble in this nation. That MTV dressing and moving "Older Than Your True Age" behavior confuses both yourself and those around you, and these are the mixed signals that really mess up age differentiated hookups. Have you seen the clothing racks for SEVEN YEAR OLDS in the malls??!!?!? Crazy, just crazy.
My baby granddaughter of 11 looks 15 on a beach and in a bikini and I'm talking to her mom about little girl one piece bathing suits and clothing, but......nobody listens to this old woman.
Now, I'm going to be jumped by people who half understand my comments.

I should have known that, wherever there was controversy, wherever a headline could be misinterpreted or that when a blog post had an enflaming, arousing, irritating or stupid headline, that it would be you.
I have been gone and haven't been reading you. Missed reading you, watching the comments climb to 123 or watch you generate 10 blog post in protest to yours.
I would call you a naughty little monkey, which I call all of my grandchildren, because I used to own two naughty little monkeys as a teenager,( I was practicing my Faye on tiny King Kongs, was your theory, no? NO. I was buying and harboring and keeping as pets, soon to become endangered species, but that's another story.) and call everyone younger than I am( you about 6 months younger, no? Heheheheheh) a naughty little monkey.
But, of course, you're not. You're just a writer having fun and that's what blogging is all about, having fun, writing in real time and provoking some thoughts along the way, or, if nothing else then, provoking heated arguments and neighborhood input, no? Signs of a primo writer, editorial writing, I think, sure.
Write on, teacher preacher and I'll try to keep up with you, but I'm being very selfish this 2005 and trying to establish some passive income at what I do best. Then, I'll write like you do about this border area of mine and our particular stupidities. Hope your writer glenn survives his white girl phase with his fury intact, if that's what he wants.

actually from all appearances
your statements -- if anybody were to read them -- tell me this:
you just might "talk" to god, and god just might "answer" you. this could make it seem as though you hear voices.
your statements make it seem as though you don't have a problem with 40 yr olds having sex with minors of the opposite sex, thus you seem by your statements to promote what is termed in legal parlance as "pedophilia".
I am just attempting to see if you might illucidate some so that your statements would not be misconstrued as I have above described.

is written in The Holy Bible.
I do not communicate with my Father through that book. I always have direct, one-on-one conversations with Him.

or are you saying that is all right for anyone over the age of 18 to have sex with anyone under the age of 15?
in that case, you are encouraging the violation of laws and acceptable human behavior.
inciting to break the law -- conspiring to have sex with a minor- you put the thought in someone's head and that's inciting and conspiring
