Benzinha, tell us what happened
at the trade show! It's always good to read about what the OTHER grandma is up to.

Temple, fer sure. Kitty prints instead. I laugh when I remember that I give

love advice to the young. What do I know? Only that I can't date anymore and that each heartbreak passed and the new one arrived all shiny and new and cuddly and kissy and won my heart and later, ripped it up and tossed it out the car window as he drove on down the freeway of life.

My favorite part is when love is shiny and new and cuddly and kissy, but I prefer dog kisses now and grandchild hugs, safer, more enduring, more sincere and heartfelt, without reservations. I just want to figure out how to help you stop hurting and open yourself up to the new fellow coming at you on life's little freeway.

As my ancient mommy always says, "This too shall pass." Besosotes, tu abuelita

maj, monsoon, chubasco, call it what you will, the cities are getting too

hot around here and the skies drop rain, which evaporates before hitting the ground or the black clouds just circle the cooler edges of the city and rain out there.

I can actually garden in 105 degree heat, and 90% humidity, from years of practice, but it takes some wet cloths on the neck and sweat bands to keep the eyes clear of salt and periodic hosing down of the whole person and things go smoothly.

The landlord's gardener has been chopping back tree branches and hauling away the ex-neighbor's piles of old wood debris (carpentry projects) and old metal pieces (other projects), dead garden furniture and straw mats that lined the fences, etc. I now have a huge, and I mean huge pile of debris in front of the house for bulk pickup on the 8th. I added to it, too. This place is getting really pretty.

Whacky,

I was missing Blogit. More at first, and less later on. Amazing how, when life begins to throw distractions and new activities our way, we forget even those things which we loved doing before. They made me so busy that I rarely was able to think about and miss Blogit, which I do miss. Missed writing, was the thing (as people say today and I wonder what it means).

Missed reading, too. I have been catching up on some. Temple takes forever as her posts are enormous, so I think that I only read MayB and Temple yesterday.  Oh, maj, too.

Thanks for reading and I shall go read more about your family films, asap.

I could have written that, just with a different setting.
Mi madre?  Hmmmm. :)  I've missed you also.  If I didn't have to be so responsible (ha!) I would be there by now, just to get a hug.  I like to love like I love.  It's a good part of me.  But, heart break is big, too.  Downsides to everything.  Puppies good....also muddy paw prints.  Such is life.  I'm glad you are back and life is flowing well.  Now, you make me want to vacuum!  Dammit.    Oh, go to Lady K's blogspot....she's published again on MSNBC.

When it stops, we stop, no?

I know from watching the satellites photos (google up "geostationary server") where you get this "monsoon" humidity stuff, but having spent my summer times in the higher part of the Mojave, it makes no intuitive sense to me.

Be well!
