Whoa! Gotta get used to the new name! Then you, sir, are a genuine hunter...I like that much better. I think I told you about all the deer here...seems like there are more bucks than usual, for some reason..they are everywhere!

Thank you!  I was thinking of you tonight...I was sitting out writing and two 8-pointers were not 25yds away.  They only allow bows in my area, though, and I don't remember reading that you do bows.

You promised to stay on my case about this, and I'm glad you're sticking to your promise    When will I learn to finish one job before starting others?

Thank you....charmingly put as always.  And I feel exactly the same about your posts and comments....and aren't there still some loose ends on the American Living Room tale?

Mine can get a little on the stretchy side, too.  And you should see them before I trim away all the fat.  Other times I can get it all said in a short post.  Probably depends on the subject.  Anyway, you have such a down-home style of writing and you say it in such an interesting way that, long or not, next thing I know, I'm at the end.  I read your comments all the way to the end, too.  I actually get a blast out of your comments even when they're not meant for me

Like me, you just say what's on your mind...and I think  that is what is important...you'll probably eventually find your "voice"...I pretty much write like I talk...which is A LOT!!!! Thanks for reading!!!

I like the posts medium sized, but it's really hard for me to keep them that way. I ramble a lot too.

Go long, Dear Lady
if that is where you feel a comfort...I am one for the challenge of a longer writing, particularly in poetry or prose...    -Ted

No, Krisuhlis doesn't look right. Kris-a-liss would probably be closer to the pronunciation of chrysalis, and I think it looks really cool---but no need to change it to anything...I was just commenting since you said that was the pronunciation key.

Thank you! I knew I couldn't be all alone in my preference.  I just read so many short posts and feel...I don't know...is that all there is....somehow, wanting more....like that was the appetizer if it was a good post, and now I'm ready to really read....

I prefer long posts myself...they do tend to be more fleshed out.

Fingers are all over each other today.....make that, do you think I should change it to krisuhles...just doesn't look right...makes me think of that cult or something!!!

Quirky

I know it's true, like I said, that economy in words is the ideal....but I think a few on here get too economical before they have refined the art and I would rather see more words from them.  There is a fine balance to be met...afraid I'll never meet it!  I know on the pronunciaiton key...I guess I didn't respond clearly the other day...I probably should have spelled it krisules on here but I was in a hurry to get my registration finished....I don't think I should change it now, do you?

I have also been trying to shorten my posts...it takes discipline...but much can be said in very few words...that is how I look at it anyway...personally I cringe when I open a post and it is a mile long...I just don't have the time to read a lot of lengthy posts, nor do most people. However...when there is an important story to be told...then yes...lengthy has a purpose.

BTW--I looked up Chrysalis in my dictionary...sorry to tell you...there is an "uh" sound between the Kris and the les...it is the upside down e which there is no keyboard equivalent of...so it is pronounced Kris-uh-les...does this make sense?

Thank you! I just love listenin' to you talk and am so glad someone else types like they talk..it's like music to my ear...when I go to a movie where the actors talk with your accent it only takes me a few minutes and my ear attunes to it and I just sit there and it's like music...such rhythm and flow...energy! And thanks for the encouragement...hugs and kisses to you....forgot your wife's name....saw it in some comments somewhere...anyway, she won't mind that, will she! Hugs and kisses to her, too!
