Sandra

Thank you for your comment on my article.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but and infact you unconsciously reinforce part of my argument. By propagating hatred and contempt for men, women do make themselves less than the might be ; in the process demeaning both their own, and the opposite sex.

You'll find other articles of a similar nature in future posts ; maybe one or two expanding on this theme of gender hatred, which I hope you'll find thought provoking.

Good luck with your blog, and if I can help in any way, please do contact me. Okay?

I don't think gender is the issue. That's just another one of our ego's attempts to divide and justify... the stuff of all war. We are human beings first!... all wonderful and equal... gender is only the excuse we use for showing up as less than we're capable of being. Gender differences provide us the opportunity to practice and exercise tolerance, to expand our curiosity, to challenge our very nature. The gender debate provides another excuse for being out of step with our integrity as human beings in humanity. We need to get over ourselves! LOL

Great post and thought provoking read. Thanks for expanding my mind. I appreciate it. Thank you also for your tolerance of my perspective... I appreciate that too! ;o). Sandi

Interesting observations. I don't quite see it that way, I always have looked up to strong men and women.

Hmmm...
I'm guilty of being sexist. And I use completely foul language at any given time. I don't think I'm better than the male species however, I just think we all have characteristics to our genders that are ingrained by upbringing. The funny thing is... when we got a flat on the way to pick up my kids, I changed the tire because my boyfriend didn't know how to! Great post and thought provoking. I might not change my use of foul language (I do behave when necessary)  but I'll try and see things from the male point of view.

Good for you, respecting your fellow humans, whatever their gender.Unfortunately, too many men do not know the meaning of 'respect'; and to satisfy their so-called 'needs', take advantage of women - often cruelly. No wonder so many women rebel at this injustice either to themseves or that inflicted upon other women.
