Jesse Jean, Just as Hemlocker I grew up in south Florida, lived in
the central part of California, lived in the Senora desert in Arizona, and just about anywhere else where the heat would zap you of all your strength. For some reason, I couldn't stay out of the desert when I was out west. Now, I don't even want to be near the heat or hot places. I'll visit Arizona again, but only on the winter. Hang in there! The heat won't be forever.

yo, jesse jean--
I was raised in South Florida where the temperature and the humidity can be 90 at the same time. You have to change your underwear three times a day. Then I lived in the Central Valley of California, where you can have three digit heat for twelve days in a row, and the summer lasts for five months. I do not like heat, even "dry heat", Sam. I do not like it, Sam-I-am. But do you know that ARIZONA HIGHWAYS used to be one of my favorite magazines? Some of the photographs I saw there, I will never forget--and I first learned about the Anazasi, "the ancient ones", there. Remember, you are a great writer. Just don't ask me to visit during the hot season. Hemlocker
