Okay, I'm a lot more clued in now. Thanks for that informative link. Over the last week, I've had mostly only time to flip quickly through the paper and scan the headlines, so I've seen references to Bush getting ready to make an appointment to the US Supreme Court, but the name didn't register. Roberts seems pretty squeaky-clean, smart, and a good nominee. Interesting that he received support from both liberals and conservatives for his appellate court nomination but is now receiving opposition from liberals to this appointment. But I guess this is a much more powerful position, so he'll be perceived as a threat by some. Thanks again
