It does indeed matter how you view God, and I think it would be interesting how many people of the same faith have completely different ideas about what God is. That'd be fun to find out. =)

Hummm... sounds sort of like the chicken and the egg quandry. I don't believe in religion; that doesn't mean, though that I don't believe that God exists. Of course I believe, because I have a certainty in my own experience that it exists. I think also that it all boils down to what an indivdual's perception of God is. I have a very unique view of "God"; of course I have no physical proof either. Good post. :)
