Hey, it's like your very own metal music, just without the crunchy guitars! And yeah, kids don't need the metal music to get worked up into a frenzy, they seem to have enough energy on their own =P.

You're not alone. I tend to confuse a lot of people =P

I can't do metal anymore...
Maybe it's because I don't have the emotions to match anymore. Or maybe it's just that I spend all day listening to loud noises, banging, screaming, shrill whistles, and other loud whatnot. Therefore, my music of choice is gentler on the ears, although not too gentle. Besides, we already have a stash of CDs we don't want around the kids stored away someplace...

i do love your perspective of them.... :) music has to represent what we believe, regardless of the belief. if you do it without passion then whats the point???

Hey, now that’s a testament to there being hope for mankind right there. You know that I adamantly disbelieve in your faith, yet you are able to call me friend because we share common ground. Hooray! =D. Thank you =)

And you’re way lucky for getting to meet them in person. Man, I’d love to shake their hands and tell them how huge of a fan I am. While I don’t believe in their message, it’s clear to see how well they get it out there. And their talent as musicians and songwriters is stellar. I’ve always enjoyed old time hymns thanks to my mom, so Redemption Songs was an extra bonus for me; they did an amazing job of bringing the old classics to modern light. =)

i shall from here on out call you friend.... though i am not an athiest and only state that as i don't want to give that impression.....

i love JOC.... the jealous kind track from "who we are instead" is by far (in my humble oppinion) one of the most incredible songs ever written! i also love "blind" & "worlds apart" from their first cd... i, like you, have all of their cds and had the very wonderful experience of meeting them once. (minus Dan Hastletine who apparently goes MIA at events like that quite often...) such a kind group of guys..... when Christian music tends to follow a trend and strive simply to sound like whatever else is popular, JOC trys new things... they have no specific sound and what they do have is unending amounts of talent!!!!
